About Nathaniel Shirey

 

 

Nathaniel Shirey is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University. In May 2017, he will graduate with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in mechanical systems. 

Nathaniel passed the FE Exam this past July and will gain EIT status upon graduation.  In the short term, he looks forward to beginning work as a MEP engineer for a consulting or AE firm to gain knowledge and practical experience in the MEP engineering profession and to obtain his license as a Professional Engineer (PE).

Outside of academics, Nathaniel is a Community Assistant at the Pointe in State College. He enjoys helping residents and strives to make the Pointe one the best student housing options in State College. He played a key role in establishing Pointe-A-Palooza, which is no a semiannual event that many residents enjoy. Nathaniel also enjoys outside activities including hiking, fishing, and competition paintball.
